The Role
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the HVAC Foreman will take charge of overseeing daily site operations, supervising personnel, and coordinating resources to ensure successful project delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a combination of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Supervise HVAC teams and apprentices, fostering growth and collaboration.
- Act as a liaison between the company and clients, maintaining strong relationships.
- Coordinate resources, subcontractors, and trades to achieve project goals.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Interpret design documents and guide project implementation.
- Qualified HVAC Installer with proven experience in commercial installations.
- Leadership experience with a track record of managing teams and projects.
- Competent in HVAC design, build installations, and interpreting technical documents.
- Full NZ Driver’s Licence (essential).
- EST Licence (desired but not required).
