The Role
You’ll take the reins on commercial projects from day one - running your own sites and ensuring builds are safe, smooth, and delivered to spec. Projects range from education and healthcare builds to refurbishments to and fitouts. If it’s part of the Toowoomba landscape, chances are you’ll have a hand in shaping it.
Expect full autonomy, solid support from head office and the opportunity to bring your own style and standards to site leadership.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing site activities from pre-start to handover
- Coordinating subcontractors and driving program to meet key milestones
- Enforcing site safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Being the go-to on-site leader, communicator and problem-solver
- Proven background as a Site Manager on commercial builds
- Open Supervisors Licence (essential)
- Open Builders Licence (a bonus, but not a dealbreaker)
- Trade background preferred
- Comfortable working with subs, suppliers, consultants and clients
- A cool head under pressure and a knack for delivering clean, well-run sites
- Local Projects Only – Home every night, weekends to yourself
- Fully Serviced Vehicle – So you can get to site without using your own ute
