About the Company

This company is a prominent WA Mining Company that operates several existing projects in Western Australia’s Pilbara region. Currently they are undertaking construction of a new mine and associated civil infrastructure and have an IMMEDIATE requirement for a client-side CIVIL CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR to join their high-performance delivery team.

About the Role

Your role as CIVIL CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR  with the mine owner, will involve managing the civil contractors undertaking significant road upgrade and construction works on the mine access road. You will represent the client’s interests and focus your efforts on ensuring the smooth running of the site which spans many kilometres and multiple work fronts. You will supervise and coordinate the construction contractors to ensure compliance with HSE&Q and MRWA requirements with the ultimate aim of ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget. You will attend project meetings as required and provide regular progress updates to senior management. This is an IMMEDIATE requirement with a START ASAP, pending medical/DAS testing and mobilisation paperwork. As CIVIL CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR , you will work on an appealing 12/9 FIFO roster ex-Perth (12 hour days), and be rewarded with an excellent day rate CIRCA $1300/Day + super. 

Experience, Qualifications and Skills Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ of CIVIL SUPERVISOR experience building remote WA minesite civil infrastructure and road construction projects
• Proven 5 years of “client-side” contractor management experience overseeing civil contractors building minesite civil infrastructure or road construction projects in remote western Australia
• Excellent technical knowledge of MRWA specifications and standards from past involvement on road construction projects in WA
• Strong leadership capabilities to coordinate and manage contractors
• Possess a strong unwavering focus on safety to drive an injury-free and zero-risk environment.
• Excellent all-round communication skills to liaise at all levels with various stakeholders
• Currently Perth/WA based with existing rights to work in Australia
• Clean WA C Class driver’s licence
