Denise began her recruitment career in 2007 and joined Stellar in 2015, where she has continued to build a reputation as a dependable, solutions-focused recruitment leader within the mining, trades, and labour market. Since joining the business, she has progressed into leading the Brisbane Trades and Labour division, combining strong operational delivery with a clear commercial focus.

Throughout her career at Stellar, Denise has balanced leadership progression with welcoming two children, continuing to build her career with consistency, resilience, and long-term commitment to her clients and team.

Denise brings deep experience across mining recruitment, with a particular focus on open-cut and underground coal and metals operations along the Australian East Coast. She recruits across a broad range of operational roles, including shotfirers, operators, drillers, and production personnel, and is known for delivering consistent outcomes in challenging labour markets.

Highly organised, grounded, and commercially astute, Denise partners closely with clients to streamline hiring strategies while ensuring candidates experience a professional, transparent, and well-supported recruitment process. Denise has managed and executed New to Industry programs by designing and delivering community-based traineeship and diversity campaigns for major mining clients, successfully converting new entrants into long-term, job-ready operators.

Her passion for learning and strong work ethic, shaped by a family of hard workers, has enabled her to build trusted relationships and long-standing industry networks based on results.

Denise’s contribution to the recruitment industry was recognised with her nomination for RCSA Recruitment Professional of the Year in 2020, reflecting her commitment to quality service and sustainable workforce solutions.
