Are you wanting to grow your Civil Construction career? We're seeking an experienced Site Manager or Supervisor to join an award winning company in the stunning Queenstown Lakes District. With a large forward workload across the region, this position will be responsible for the on-site construction of a wide range of diverse projects including residential/commercial subdivisions, roading and drainage.

Core responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers to develop work plans, optimize resources, and reduce costs. Lead initiatives to improve productivity and operational effectiveness.
• Operate a variety of heavy machinery, teaching and training when required.
• Management of sub-contractors and overall coordination of onsite works
• Ensure projects meet quality standards and comply with environmental regulations. Oversee testing, inspections, and quality checks.
• Manage plant, labour, and materials to maximise productivity and meet budgetary constraints.
• Lead, mentor, and develop crews to meet operational standards. Manage subcontractor performance and address any issues to ensure project success.

• Proven supervisory experience within the civil construction industry.
• Relevant certifications in construction supervision, safety, and equipment operation
• Extensive machine operating experience
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills in a construction environment
• Clean Class 1 license
• W,T,R endorsements and Class 2 & 4 licenses (Preferable)
