Our client, a leader in the renewable energy sector, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager
to oversee a major PV project in Christchurch. This role is crucial in ensuring quality compliance, implementing robust management systems, and driving project success.
About the Role:
As the Quality Manager, you will take ownership of quality assurance across all project phases. You’ll work closely with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to maintain the highest industry standards while ensuring smooth project delivery. Other responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System for the project
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards
- Oversee testing procedures for solar panels, inverters, and system components
- Maintain detailed records and provide regular reports on key quality metrics
- Collaborate with stakeholders to uphold quality expectations and mitigate risks
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of solar experience or experience on a 50MW+ project is essential!
- Proven background in quality management within the solar industry (modular installation, tracker systems, and alignment expertise beneficial)
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Quality management certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) are a plus
- NZ-based candidates with PR preferred
