We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team for a commercial multi-storey building project in Queenstown, starting in April. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant location and be part of a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Organise Sequencing: Coordinate on-site activities, including materials, equipment, personnel, and materials handling plant.
- Resource Allocation: In consultation with the Construction Manager, allocate necessary site staff and resources, ensuring all resources are available when required.
- Programme Review: Collaborate with the Construction Manager to review the construction programme.
- Daily Management: Plan and effectively manage daily site works, ensuring smooth operations.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, relevant codes, and acts for yourself and the team.
- Communication: Read drawings and communicate relevant tasks clearly to the team.
- Task Direction: Provide clear direction on daily tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor your team to deliver high-quality outcomes, supporting on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
- Health and Safety: Uphold and lead health and safety standards on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
- Strong People Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
