We're seeking an experienced Project Manager or Project Engineer keen to thrive in the stunning Queenstown Lakes District with an award winning Civil Construction company. With a large forward workload across the region, this position will be responsible for the on-site construction of a wide range of diverse projects including residential/commercial subdivisions, roading and drainage.

Core responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers to develop work plans, optimize resources, and reduce costs. Lead initiatives to improve productivity and operational effectiveness.
• The responsibility for project oversight from inception to completion
• Preparation of estimates, project tendering, managing contracts and reporting on key financial and non-financial metrics relating to any Three Waters project progress
• Coordinating with the Activity Team Leader to provide timely, insightful data ensuring a smooth delivery of high-quality results to clients
• Measurement and reporting of project performance, management of sub-contractors and the overall coordination of onsite works.

• Have a minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in Civil Construction
• Tertiary Qualification – Bachelor of Engineering, Diploma in Construction Management or similar
• Have a clean Class 1 driver's licence
