Our client is a privately-owned construction company specializing in the renovation and construction of residential and commercial projects across the Otago region. Since its formation in 2016, the company has developed a strong reputation for delivering high-quality work with attention to detail and a focus on exceeding client expectations. They are excited to announce their expansion into the Balclutha and Timaru communities!
As the company continues to grow, they are looking for a skilled Administration Assistant to join their team. This part-time position offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:
In this varied and crucial role, you will support our operations through a range of administrative tasks, including:

  • Managing invoicing and pricing
  • Ordering materials and supplies for ongoing projects
  • Scheduling and coordinating site visits and meetings
  • Handling health and safety documentation and ensuring compliance
  • Managing accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP)
  • Assisting the Quantity Surveyor (QS) with project documentation
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in document management systems
  • Assisting with payroll processing and ensuring compliance
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider team as required
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an administrative or office management role (construction industry experience is a plus)
  • Proficiency with Xero and Microsoft 365
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with health and safety documentation and compliance is desirable
