Job Advert: Regional Field Technician
Location:  Kewdale Workshop
Roster:  7/7 roster
Salary:  $150k base + $20k market allowance

We are seeking a skilled  Heavy Vehicle Mechanic  to join our client's team at the Kewdale workshop. This role offers a great opportunity to apply your expertise in maintaining heavy road vehicles, fixed plant, and general mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fault finding, maintenance, and repair of heavy vehicles and mechanical systems (MPU's, Telehandlers, Gensets, Compressors, Scania, Volvo)
• Working knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and automated safety control systems
• Track on-site maintenance performance and ensure operational issues are managed and communicated in a timely manner.
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager to review plant performance (availability, breakdowns and backlog) and implement remedial or preventative action where necessary.
• Some travel to site requested - between Collie and Karara.  

• Trade qualifications with extensive experience in heavy vehicle, plant, and mechanical equipment maintenance (Cert III - Heavy Commercial Vehicle) mandatory
• Strong safety leadership and a positive safety mindset
• Flexible and willing to assist in various tasks within manufacturing
• Well-developed communication and planning skills
• Current driver’s and forklift licences
• Ability to obtain full security clearance, SSAN, or Dangerous Goods Security Clearance
