Forklift Driver

We are currently looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our warehouse and distribution team. Our Christchurch plant which is based in Hornby is looking for a Forklift Driver for our afternoon shift (04:00PM – 12:00AM). All shifts are Monday – Friday and overtime rates will apply for anything over and above your scheduled hours of work. This role does come with an opportunity to stay long-term and to progress. Duties will include:
- Operating the Forklift to move products around the warehouse
- Picking and packing orders
- Loading and unloading trucks
- RF scanning
- Stacking boxes ready for distribution
- Operating some manufacturing machinery when required
- You must have a valid Forklift license and F endorsement
- At least 1 year experience operating a forklift truck
- Competent in using the RF scanner
- Good communication and able to work in a multicultural team environment
- Thorough with good attention to detail
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Interested in learning new things
- Physically able (as there will be some lifting required)
- Keen attitude to learn and get involved
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
