About the Role:
  
As our Senior Financial Accountant, you will be a vital part of our finance team, providing high-level accounting services, supervision, and support. Working closely with an experienced Financial Controller and CFO, you’ll be part of a high-performing team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a technically skilled accountant with strong attention to detail who wants to take ownership and contribute meaningfully to our continued success.
  
Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly profit and loss accounts and balance sheets for the group.
  • Assisting in creating financial presentations for monthly management meetings with directors and the leadership team.
  • Preparing statutory financial statements for all entities and support financial reporting
  • Liaising with external auditors during audits for the group and any individual entities as required.
  • Supporting taxation matters across Australia and New Zealand.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
  • CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role or the potential to step up to this level
  • Proven expertise in finance and accounting functions, including tax, compliance, and audit
  • A proactive mindset with drive, determination, and a willingness to take initiative
