- Work with DCS and SCADA systems , ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- Assemble and wire main switchboards
- Perform essential electrical repairs, maintenance, and inspections
- Install, calibrate, and set up field control instruments
- Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns, minimizing downtime
- Conduct hot and cold loop checks during installation
- Interpret electrical drawings and develop circuits with precision
- Install, wire, commission, and program variable speed drives and soft starters
- Handle cable termination and glanding for XLPE, S.W.A, PVC single-core cables (up to 500 mm²) and 3/4 core cables (up to 300 mm²)
- A valid EWRB Practising License as a Registered Electrician
- Valid Site Safe certification
- Valid EWP (Elevated Work Platform) certification
- Authorised to work in New Zealand (NZ Working Rights)
- A NZ Driver's License
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work
- Competence in process control systems and reading electrical plans
