We are looking for an Environmental Technical Officer to join us at our Boggabri mine, an open-cut coal operation producing in excess of 8.6 million tonnes per annum, and with a mine life extending through until 2033. Boggabri mine is located near Boggabri, Gunnedah and Narrabri, regional towns which offer community spirit and a unique and diverse country lifestyle.
Our Environment Department manages various systems and provides support to ensures that the mine continues to meet its statutory obligations and remains compliant.

You believe in fostering a positive, collaborative work culture, ensuring we always put our people first.
- Have prior environmental experience, and knowledge, of environmental standards, legislation, and regulations. Preferably within NSW mining operations
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry experience.
- Can demonstrate experience in compliance system administrative activities.
- Have demonstrated competence with electronic management process and record keeping systems (SAP, SharePoint, risk and compliance systems).
- Have experience in field work, inspections, sampling, and data collection to assess environmental compliance
- Have the ability to manage multiple work demands and competing priorities
