About the Role
- Keeping the rigs in tip-top shape with regular maintenance, repairs, and overhauls.
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues to keep everything running without a hitch.
- Doing inspections and routine maintenance to avoid any nasty surprises down the line.
- Keeping accurate records of what’s been done to each rig.
- Working safely and following the team’s high-quality standards.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- You’ve got an Australian Certified Trade Qualification (Fitter or similar).
- You’ve worked on rigs like the Caterpillar MD Series 6250 , Atlas Copco/Epiroc D65 , Atlas Copco/Epiroc T45 , and Atlas Copco/Epiroc Pit Viper .
- You know your way around mechanical and electrical issues.
- You’re happy to work solo or as part of a team, and you get things done with no fuss.
- Safety and quality aren’t just buzzwords for you – you live and breathe them.
