About the Role
Embrace a role filled with diversity, where no 2 days are alike. As a pivotal member of one of our maintenance crews, you will be engaged in a range of activities including (but not limited to):
- Class 2 truck driving
- Soft landscaping (e.g. pruning, hedging)
- Mowing using top-of-the-line equipment
- Weed eating
- Spraying
- Litter collection
- and general maintenance duties such as guard rail and pothole repairs etc
Expect an energetic and fast-paced work environment. Your base in Mt Wellington will serve as your starting and ending point, with potential start points at the West Auckland yard. Standard workdays are from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Night shifts from 6:00 pm to 5:00 am are also available.
About YOU
This client values attitude above all. Prior experience is beneficial, but a positive mindset and strong work ethic is paramount. While no specific experience is necessary, the following attributes are desirable:
- Full Class 2 New Zealand License
- experience in the mentioned duties and/or traffic control, is highly advantageous.
- ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
