We are currently looking for a Class 2 Labourer
to join our team in the civil construction industry
in the Bay of Plenty
. If you have experience in civil works or a passion to get started in this rewarding industry, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 2 vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and tools to and from job sites
- Assist with general civil labouring tasks, including site preparation, trenching, drainage, and roadworks
- Perform manual tasks such as lifting, digging, and shoveling
- Assist skilled tradespeople and construction teams in daily tasks
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following health and safety procedures
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of construction waste and materials
- Valid Class 2 driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Previous experience in civil construction or general labouring is desirable, but not essential
- Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding role
- Good communication skills and a team player
- Knowledge of safety practices in construction and civil environments
