On behalf of a distinguished client, we are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Bid Proposal Specialist to join the Submission Team based in Penrose, Auckland. Our client, a leading infrastructure company, specialises in building and maintaining essential infrastructure across New Zealand. They cover a wide range of projects from roads and bridges to energy, water, and communication.
Salary: $100k - $130k
Responsibilities
- Manage production and submissions of non-price attributes in line with brand guidelines and client requirements.
- Develop key messaging and content that enhances the reader’s experience and understanding of our offer.
- Work closely with the Submissions and Wider Outcomes Manager, tendering team, and subject matter experts to gather information to meet review and submission deadlines.
- Research (internally and externally) to develop appropriate strategies and responses.
- Ensure technical information is factual, and commercial and legal requirements are met.
- Administration, measurement, and reporting on bid activities.
- 5+ years’ experience in bid writing, business development, or marketing.
- Proficiency in Adobe and/or InDesign is advantageous.
- Curiosity who can weave together technical and commercial elements to create compelling content.
- Detail-oriented whether editing documents or spotting inconsistencies and issues.
- Calm under pressure and able to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.
