The Opportunity:

As an Automotive Electrician, you will be responsible for undertaking electrical repairs and scheduled maintenance work on their fleet of vehicles to a high standard.

Working on a variety of heavy vehicle brands including Volvo, MAN, Scania, BCI and Mitsubishi.
This role reports into the Workshop Manager.

The successful applicant, will have:
  • Relevant Trade Qualification NZQA L4 Automotive Electrical Engineering/ equivalent automotive workshop experience
  • Valid Driver’s License Class 1 – Ideally up to class 4
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment medical
  • Demonstrated background in Heavy Vehicle experience
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Great communication and proven ability to liaise with management and clients 
  • Uncompromising attitude to safety
  • Tech Savvy

This position would also suit a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic with Electrical experience looking for a change.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnosing Electrical Issues.
  • Repairs and Maintenance.
  • Wiring and Rewiring.
  • Carry out tests and calibrations to ensure that electrical systems are functioning correctly.
  • Installation of Electrical Accessories wide variety of coaches, buses and vehicles
