BODIE MCNAUGHT

Born and bred in the Hawke’s Bay, Bodie moved to Palmerston North to study at Massey University where he played for the local premiere rugby team and became a regional representative. Focused on growth from these early years, Bodie was integral in the development and implementation of both the youth and female rugby programs within the region.

 

Bodie gained a Bachelor of Business Studies and Diploma in Teaching before moving to London where he held leadership roles at an inner-city high school. His work was instrumental in the growth and development of more than 300 students which resulted in his year group achieving the highest results the school has ever produced and placing the school at third place in the region.

 

Bodie later relocated to California where he began his recruiting career at TEKsystems, a leading provider of information technology staffing and services in the United States and Canada and member of the Allegis Group, the parent company of legal recruiting firm, Major, Lindsey & Africa. In 2012, he transferred to Major, Lindsey & Africa where he became partner and practice lead.

After two decades abroad and the last three years working between the USA and Hawke's Bay, Bodie is thrilled to be back home full-time, where he can be closer to family and friends.

At Stellar Recruitment, Bodie is heading up business development in the construction, civil and manufacturing industries across the Central North Island. Bodie’s clients are his priority, and he is dedicated to meeting their needs by sourcing the right talent for major projects, short-term assignments, and close skill set gaps.
