About the Role

In this role, you’ll apply your experience with GPS-guided excavators (ideally including 26T machinery) to carry out earthworks and civil construction tasks. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in your operations while working closely with project teams. The position offers opportunities to move into leadership for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and skills.

Duties

• Operate GPS-guided excavators 
• Carry out earthworks, excavation, and land development tasks with precision
• Maintain and care for machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating excavators (GPS experience essential)
• Valid NZ driver's license with  WTR (Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers) endorsements 
• Experience with 26T excavators preferred
• Strong communication skills with leadership potential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
